What Is a 72\u2011Hour Burn\u2011In Test?<\/p>\n
Every screen we produce undergoes a continuous 72\u2011hour burn\u2011in test before leaving our factory. The screen is powered on and runs dynamic content at its rated brightness, simulating real\u2011world usage. The purpose of these 72 hours is not to test the screen\u2019s ultimate lifespan, but to accelerate the emergence of early defects. If a lamp board has a weak solder joint, a driver IC has a hidden flaw, or a power module is unstable, these issues will surface during this continuous operation \u2013 not after installation at your location.<\/p>\n
What Else We Do During the Burn\u2011In Process:<\/p>\n
While the screens are running, our QC engineers carry out pixel\u2011by\u2011pixel brightness and colour calibration. Using professional measuring instruments, they capture the brightness and colour coordinates of each LED, then apply software\u2011based compensation to ensure overall brightness uniformity reaches over 97%, with colour differences imperceptible to the naked eye. After calibration, engineers also inspect every joint, every screw, and every connector to confirm they are securely fastened.<\/p>\n
Final Inspection Checklist:<\/p>\n
Full\u2011colour test: Red, green, blue, white, and black \u2013 to confirm no dead pixels or colour shifts<\/p>\n
Grayscale ramp test: To verify low\u2011brightness, high\u2011grayscale performance with no loss of dark\u2011area detail<\/p>\n
Signal switching test: To ensure automatic detection of multiple inputs with no black\u2011screen flicker during switching<\/p>\n
Extended loop playback: To confirm stable heat dissipation with no overheating protection triggers<\/p>\n
