In electronics manufacturing, there is a well‑known concept called the “bathtub curve”. It shows that product failure rates are highest during the early and late stages of life, with a stable period in between. This means that the most likely time for an LED screen to develop problems is in the first few days after it is manufactured and delivered to you.
Our approach to this problem is simple: we keep the early‑failure phase at our factory – not on your site.
What Is a 72‑Hour Burn‑In Test?
Every screen we produce undergoes a continuous 72‑hour burn‑in test before leaving our factory. The screen is powered on and runs dynamic content at its rated brightness, simulating real‑world usage. The purpose of these 72 hours is not to test the screen’s ultimate lifespan, but to accelerate the emergence of early defects. If a lamp board has a weak solder joint, a driver IC has a hidden flaw, or a power module is unstable, these issues will surface during this continuous operation – not after installation at your location.
What Else We Do During the Burn‑In Process:
While the screens are running, our QC engineers carry out pixel‑by‑pixel brightness and colour calibration. Using professional measuring instruments, they capture the brightness and colour coordinates of each LED, then apply software‑based compensation to ensure overall brightness uniformity reaches over 97%, with colour differences imperceptible to the naked eye. After calibration, engineers also inspect every joint, every screw, and every connector to confirm they are securely fastened.
Final Inspection Checklist:
Full‑colour test: Red, green, blue, white, and black – to confirm no dead pixels or colour shifts
Grayscale ramp test: To verify low‑brightness, high‑grayscale performance with no loss of dark‑area detail
Signal switching test: To ensure automatic detection of multiple inputs with no black‑screen flicker during switching
Extended loop playback: To confirm stable heat dissipation with no overheating protection triggers
Only after a screen has passed all of these checks is it labelled, packed, and shipped to you. Our goal is that the first image you see upon unboxing is already perfect.
